DESIGN OF ARTICULATED SYSTEMS
- CUIK is a software package for the analysis of robots and other spatial articulated systems. We are trying to develop a module that incorporates synthesis capabili1es.
- The main drawbacks of using CUIK for synthesis are that it requires linear or quadratic equations and that the solutions must lie in a given interval for each variable. A new promising methodology is being developed that could solve these problems.
